THEATRE SHOW GROUP
​(18-100 YEARS OLD)
​Do you want to create a theatre show and perform in front of a live audience? In this adult theatre course, you will be a part of a theatre ensable where you together will create a show. Depending on the desires in the group, you will either work on a manuscript or create your own interpretation of a well known (or less well known) story. Our focus areas will be on improvisation, story interpretation and comedy. The acting classes are taught in English.
IMPROV SHOW GROUP
(18-100 YEARS OLD)
​Do you want to make an entierly improvised show? Do you know the basics of Improv Theatre? The kind of theatre that’s completely made up on the spot! This course is for those who have completed our "Improv for Beginners" course or have experience with improv from elsewhere. Our focus will be to learn more improv games whilst focusing on getting ready to make an improv show in front of a live audience. The acting classes are taught in English.
CONFIDENCE IN REPRESENTATION & INTERPRETATION
(ALL AGES)
Are you a musician and want to learn how to perform concerts with more confidence? Do you need help to develop your performance skills? YOUR TEACHER
Madeleine Dolby is a Copenhagen based actress, theatre-instructor, drama-pedagog and entrepreneur  with a background in physical theatre, clowning and hospital clowning. She is the founder of
Copenhagen Theatre School, one of very few acting
schools completely in English in Copenhagen. As a teacher in the performing arts, Madeleine has since 2009 been teaching at cultural institutions, private schools, public schools, amateur theatres, and folk high schools. She has been teaching drama and theatre for amateur groups of all ages.
Where are courses held?
We have newly expanded our school and are therefore looking forward to hosting our courses at a bigger and more permanent venue from June 2021. Bellow you will therefore find the location of our new school:​
